Award Overview

The London Young Artist Award is a platform for students aged 4-25 to learn about environmental and social issues through art and creative communication, and to become advocates for positive change. Encouraging young artists to share their perspectives on sustainability through storytelling and creative expression contributes to the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The award is open to participants from around the world.

2023-2024 Season 2

A CREATIVE CHALLENGE FOR TEENS WORLDWIDE

Embark on an exhilarating journey to become "Climate Change Champions in Action" with the 2023 London Young Artist Awards! This competition provides an incredible platform to showcase your passion for tackling the challenges of climate change, all while raising awareness about the urgent issues affecting our environment. With a focus on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals 13 and 14, "Climate Action" and "Life Below Water," our goal is to acknowledge and celebrate the tireless heroes who are dedicated to combating climate change.

The 2023 London Young Artist Awards Season 2 – Climate Warriors: Fighting for a Greener Tomorrow – invites young artist to delve into the marvels and significance of addressing climate change. We aim to honour the unwavering efforts of everyday heroes who are leading with determination, commitment, and even a dash of optimism to shape a sustainable world for future generations. These heroes stand at the forefront, tirelessly working to leave a positive impact on our planet and ensure a healthier future for all the beings that call Earth their home.

Let's celebrate the unsung heroes who are making a positive impact on our oceans and wildlife. For the 2023 Contest, we challenge you to search for inspiring individuals in your community or beyond who are leading the way in ocean conservation. It could be a scientist developing cutting-edge technologies, an activist fighting for environmental justice, an artist spreading awareness through their creative talents, or simply someone making eco-friendly choices in their daily life. Share their story and help uplift their voice in the fight for a more sustainable future.

Who May Enter

Students ages 4-25 from around the world are invited to participate in London Young Artist Award. Enter the division based on your age at the time of entry:

* Individual students or groups of any size are welcome to participate. However, participants under 18 years old provide the contact information of an Adult Sponsor ( teacher, parent, mentor etc.).

Submissions are accepted in:

  • Drawing & illustration

  • Printmaking

  • Painting

  • Sculpture

  • Graphic design

  • Digital art, coding art & GIFs

  • Creative arts

AI-Generated Art is permitted in London Young Artist Award.When submitting your artworks, please indicate if AI software was used in the creation of the piece

*Please review all submission requirements carefully.
